What About Oct. Crowds??

Okay, so I see the last week in August is not too crowded but I am thinking now of maybe going in Oct. We would go around Oct 1st to the 10th. Can anyone tell me what to expect from the crowds then? Or we could go the 8th to the 16th. Anyone been then? Is one of these weeks better than the other?? All help is appreciated!!!

I think the main thing is to avoid Columbus Day Weekend. We went in October last year and enjoyed ourselves a lot. I think October is more crowded than it used to be but still moderate. Last year was a bit more crowded than usual due to people rescheduling due to the hurricanes. A lot of schools have fall breaks now. I am not sure there is any true low times left anymore!

We always go the first week of October due to DD's Fall Break and have found the crowds to be light to moderate. It is usually lighter at the beginning of the week and more crowded by the weekend, due to Columbus Day. We use emh and fast pass and have never waited more than maybe 10 - 15 minutes for a popular ride.
