I haven't seen any mention of this..........does anyone know if it's available? Also, we like to go for 8 nights, but only do the parks for 4-6, so would it be possible to get a package for 8 nights, with the dining plan, but only a 4 day ticket?

Bumping this back to page one for you

If I understood it correctly from the various sites (Mousesavers and here) the tickets can be for as many days as you want, the only thing mandatory is the no. of dinning nights has to be the same as stay at the hotel. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. HTH :smooth:

thanks for letting me be more confident! Nobody knows about Fantasmic? I may have to call to find out!

I don't know why FDP wouldn't be. The places are all listed as places you can eat at with the dining plan and other character meals you can and the price is the same with FDP. I don't know for sure, but I am guessing that it would be. You aren't charged until you actually eat unless you're a no show.

Which makes me wonder how they do HDDR now because that has to be paid up front now doesn't it?

Fantasmic, HDDR and the Luau are all on the dining plan but instead of 1 voucher it will cost you 2...make sense? Also, the answer you got was correct. You have to have the dining plan the entire length of you stay however you can choose how many days you want to visit the park!

Can you figure out why FDP would be 2? The price at H&V, for example, is the same as a normal meal even with the package. That doesn't seem right to do that.

...new part of message...
I just called and the FDP is only one sit down meal, not two.

Not sure why but that is what I was told by my friend who is a CM at CRO. I just emailed him again to see if that was correct and I will let you know when he responds.

Here is what I was just told:

Fantasmic is 1 unless you choose Brown Derby.....which is 2.

Other restaurants that use 2 vouchers are:

California Grille
Jikos
Coral reef
La Cellier
Mickey's Backyard BBQ
HDDR
Luau
Flying Fish
Narcoossees
Citricos
Artist's Point
Yachtmen's Steak House

Hope this helps!

I don't think Le Cellier requires 2 table service meals. Here is the list of restaurants - both counter service, table service, snack & signature restaurants: http://www.mousesavers.com/DisneyDiningPlanLocations.pdf

UPDATE: Some DISers are hearing straight from Disney CMs that this is in fact a signature restaurant. So hopefully a new list will come out soon!

LOL!! One of these days we will really know! The info I got was right from a CM in dining...she went into the system and read off what was 2 vouchers! Oh boy...! LOL

Kim

O.K. here is the latest I was just told! You can use your vouchers for dining at BD, H&V and MM however you can NOT use them as part of the Fantasmic dinner package.

Kim

This drives me nuts. I called WDW dining directly and they said with the dining package you could do FDP which counted as one sit down.

I know!! I called dining also and was told the first thing. Then I emailed my friend again who works in CRO(he is an excellent agent...he is usually one of the CM's that does the training!) He double/tripled checked for me and he said that the info he has been taught/told is that the vouchers can NOT be used for Fantasmic dinner packages. My gut/heart tells me to go with him...he has never given me incorrect information before.

Well, its a little aggravating not knowing for sure, but I suppose it wont be long till we have some first hand experience from our Dis Board friends. Im sure it will be figured out long before I go in June. Whens everyone else going? :umbrella:

antkim looks like no school for us tomorrow! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!! ( but not too much. ;)

benebire we are going in less than 100 days!!!! Yeah!!! April 16-23
Shhhhh...it's a surprise for the kids.

momshark,
Today was are 3rd snow day and they have now delayed school for tomorrow which is never a good way to start. It's too easy to cancel then. I may go insane tomorrow if we have our 4th!! There are no more reruns of Law and Order to watch. I do hope you enjoy yours though :D

Eeyorelover22 Oh, my, I sure feel for you. Enough is enough already. I hope those four days weren't tagged onto your holiday break!?? I guess you guys have more than 5 days alotted for snow? Tomorrow will only be our 2nd snow day this season - so far. One here and there is OK.

Well, I guess that if you are going to go nuts then you are in the right place. :earboy2:
