It seems that no Dissers eat at CP for dinner! I did a not very exhaustive search and really only found mention of breakfast and lunch. We enjoyed breakfast there and were thinking of eating at CP for dinner this May. We love Liberty Tree for dinner but thought a change of pace might be nice. Character-wise we know what to expect, but how about the food? Any CP dinner fans out there?

We have eaten bfast and dinner at CP. We loved it. The characters are the Pooh characters and they interact very well with everyone. The food is very good in my opinion and you cant beat the location. Definately try it. You won't be disappointed.

DH loves the place! Whenever we go to MK we have to go to CP for dinner, I would like to try it for breakfast one time though. The food is always delicious and fresh and I have never seen them run out of anything, the buffet is always full.

::yes::

ITA. Not only is the food very good and the location good, but the decor is really cute. Very Magic Kingdom, know what I mean? We lucked out three years ago and got a window seat facing Cinderella's Castle, and our dessert shoulda been right at the time of the fireworks. And then there was a big Thunderstorm which cancelled the fireworks, and ruined my plans. Ah well, can't plan for Mother Nature. But if you time it right, and the weather cooperates, you could have a swell evening.

Thanks for the quick replies. I think we'll like it since we loved the breakfast. The dinner sounds like a winner! We love good food, but we're not picky about the type of food, so I think we'll try it out. It will be a shame not to go to Liberty Tree Tavern though! Oh well, there are only so many meals in a day!

The dinner is great. We had PS about an hour and half before the fireworks. So we ate and walked out and found a place right there to watch the fireworks. It worked great. :goodvibes

We really like CP and make sure to eat there on every trip. We prefer the food and more relaxed atmosphere at LTT, but still really like CP. We ate there this past Saturday and my only complaint was that the characters took absolutely forever to get to our table, and that was with Pooh in the lobby area. We were there over an hour, done with dessert, and still had only seen Tigger. Our waiter kept apologizing to us (we weren't complaining, he just felt bad we had to wait). On all our previous trips to CP we've never had a problem with it and consider it a fluke. Our waiter was Vinnie, and was the best we had in any restaurant on our trip. Our boys love the character parade and being able to get their food at the buffet without having to wait for it to be cooked and served.

We really enjoy CP and eat there often. However, we have found that we like lunch and dinner much more than breakfast.

Great minds must think alike. I have plans for Saturday dinner meal there and didn't even think about the parade. I am so excited about our trip it is all I think about

We had dinner there last visit and loved it! We had made ressie's at the last minute, and could only get an 8:30 time. But, I went up to the check-in area around 6ish (when we were starving!) and asked if we could be seated any earlier than 8:30. They sat us almost immediately! It was fabulous! :earsboy:

We loved the Crystal Palace for dinner. Their prime rib was incredible and everything else was great too. The kid's loved the characters, we loved the food, how can you lose?

We eat here every trip (even before ds was born). Our Tip: Try to get the last seating for Lunch instead. A little cheaper, but it also lead to our families greatest Disney experience.

In Feb 2004, we had a late lunch at CP (the last available time, like 2:30 or 3:00, something like that). There were not many guests eating at that time, so we got lots of character attention. But that was still not the best part. As we finished lunch and were about to leave (we were the last one's in the place), my dw needed to use the restroom. I waited on the entrance with my 2 yr old ds. All of the characters came over and took him from me and proceeded to play and pose for pictures. When my dw came out the bathroom, she was in complete awe. Eeyore is her favorite. The playing and posing went on for over 15 minutes. The dinner guests were lined up outside looking in watching this one little boy play with all of the Pook characters. I honestly have more 100 pictures from this 15 minute period.

So for us... IT WILL ALWAYS BE A LATE LUNCH AT CP!!!!!!!!! :)

This is so funny. I am currently holding two ADR's for the same day. One at 2:30, late lunch and the other at 7:30 to catch the parade/fireworks. Still not sure which to cancel but we are not going until mid July so we have time to decide. The day in question has EMH so I was thinking we could go to MK at 8 am and stay until it gets crowded then go to the hotel to nap and swim, return for dinner or just stay for the late lunch and really fill up and only eat lightly for dinner. Decisions, decisions, decisions!!! :confused:
