Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, hope your as happy as can be!!! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Have heard alot about the wonderful table service meals at WDW. Even did some PS's changing because of some of the reviews I've read.
BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
What about counter service meals?? where are the best ones? :confused3 What should we try? :confused3
At which park? :confused3 Maybe a resort? :confused3

Can tell it our first time at the "world"???
We have the DYW package, so we really need to know where to go.
Thanks, I just love these boards!!! :lovestruc

We like Columbia Harbor House in the Magic Kingdom. It's got standard chicken fingers (which are some of the best I've ever had), fish sticks, and sandwiches. The atmosphere is neat though; it's a nice escape from the rest of the world.

We love Columbia Harbor House in MK and Tusker House in AK :)

Our favorites:

MK - Columbia Harbor House
AK - Flametree and Tusker House
MGM - Not a real standout, but Backlot Express has pretty good burgers...
EPCOT - Tangerine Cafe (Morocco), French Bakery (everything is sooooo good there!!!) :goodvibes

Exactly what I would recommend. Would also add Pecos Bills in MK.

I love Caseys, CHH, Peco's Bills, Tomorrowland Noodle Station, Flame Tree BBQ, Fountainview Cafe and Beaches n Cream.

We just got back from Disney World and had 4 nights worth of the disney dining plan. We ate very good. For counterservice, we ate at Tusker House and Flame Tree BBQ from Animal Kingdom. Flame Tree had yummier food and the chicken was juicy. Only outdoor seating - watch out for the pesky ducklings and some other large birds. Tusker House had A/C, indoor seating but chicken was not as good as Flame Tree (plus no ribs at Tusker House).

At Magic Kingdom, we ate at Cosmic Ray's. That robot was great entertainment for my kids and there are plenty of different things to choose from. My hubby liked his chicken and rib combo a lot.

At Epcot, we only ate table service. Oh, we did use one counter service voucher for a take out at the electric umbrella near the front pin station. Ordered a roast beef sandwich to go (as a late night snack). Didn't use the dining plan for MGM.

We like:

MK - Cosmic Ray's & El Pirata El Perico
EPCOT - Cantina de San Angel & Yakitori House
MGM - prefer table service but will eat @ Rosie's or Pizza Planet if desperate
Animal Kingdom - Pizzafari
DTD - Earle of Sandwich and don't miss dessert @ Ghirardelli's!
