What about breakfast?

Will be using DDP and a counter service, snack and sit down meal each day is plenty for me, but my husband and teens will want that plus breakfast. And not a muffin or doughnut, either! So I'm figuring we'll be paying cash for breakfasts. Are there any places that are better deals than others? Buffets work well for us since everyone can find something that they like.

We will be staying at CSR - so we could eat at the Maya Grill for breakfast, but won't want to do that every day probably (although when we stayed at Beach Club we DID have the breakfast buffet at Cape May every morning and no one complained...) We could hit Boma once for breakfast. Where else? Kids are old enough that they don't care about character breakfasts and probably would prefer NOT to do character breakfasts, actually.

I think Whispering Canyon's all-you-can-eat skillet and Trails End Buffet (at Fort Wilderness) are the best TS breakfast deals. The skillet is 10.99 a person I believe and Trails End is about a dollar more. I've never done Trails End, but the menu I've seen online looks good. We just did Whispering Canyon for the skillet during our last trip and it was really good. Only issue is whether or not your family would enjoy/mind the antics that go on there. I think the servers generally can gauge how much people are into it and they only pick on the ones who seem to be enjoying it.

I love Crystal Palace breakfast--- not sure about it being a good deal, but it's good!!! I love getting breakfast on vacation (we never do it at home).

I wasn't too clear from your post if you were set on doing TS for breakfast or not. If not, Pepper Market breakfast was alot of food for a CS. I would go get 1 CS meal and 2 of us would split it. They had a good variety. I know alot of people don't like PM but we didn't have a problem there.

Ohana was our favorite TS breakfast which is served family style rather than buffet (which we really liked). The POG juice was awesome. ALOT of food and they kept asking if we wanted more.

We didn't eat there - but Kona at the Poly may be another good option for breakfast -- it was packed when we went to Ohana.
