Hi,
I don't do roller coasters or rides with big drops. I went to UH/IOA today and had a blast watching the Beetlejuice show. The actors did their own singing and dancing...very impressive. If you can handle short train rides, I highly recommend the High in the Sky train ride at Seuss Landing. If you can handle a few spins (no drops on these rides), you will enjoy The Cat in the Hat attraction (similar to Its a Small World) or Men in Black. If you can handle a short boat ride, you could handle the Jaws attraction. If you can sit or stand in a movie theater, then you might enjoy Disaster, Twister, or Shrek (4D). I found "One-Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" to be similar to Disney's Dumbo ride, but even more fun as it incorporates water. Getting pictures with characters seems to involve much shorter lines (if any) than at Disney...I have seen Scooby Doo, Homer Simpson, Shrek, Spiderman, etc. There is lots to see in terms of photo ops and family friendly shows. Also, the Simpsons and Spiderman are simulator type rides (with lots of jerking and spinning), which may require you to close your eyes for the simulated roller coaster or simulated falling sections. Prior to moving to Florida, when I vacationed in Orlando last year I spent one day at Magic Kingdom and one day at Universal. Both parks have something to offer, but I enjoyed Universal more. If you choose Universal for a 1 to 3 day trip, you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for 5 to 7 days of amusement at the parks, you might opt to stick with Disney or split your time in half. Hope this helps!
