What a Whirlwind!

Hey everyone! I missed my DIS friends. Someday, I am going to get my Mom and Dad something besides dial-up internet - and someone was always on the phone!

We just got back home a while ago, we had a wonderful Christmas overall. DS got a bit sick, actually was diagnosed with the flu on Friday, but the fever was over by Saturday morning leaving him just stuffed up and a little draggy (thank Heaven for flu shots - at least it did that much). Since he was feeling okay, we really didn't have to curtail Christmas and everyone had a great time, but it is REALLY good to be home.

I had the nightmare w/ the "outlaws"..but I managed to remain strong and let it roll of my back... I was so glad to be home though.. we had one not feeling while on the ride home...and another not well when we got home..but overall everyone did fine.. ONLY 13 more days til school starts!!!

That just now hit me, too. Ours go back on the 3rd. DS is complaining because he doesn't have enough days to work!

We go back on the 3rd, and the students come back on the 4th. It seems like Christmas has flown by! Oh well, that just means the next WDW trip is getting closer and closer!!

We had a Christmas whirlwind, too, but we finally finished that last night with dinner and presents at DH's family. I am going to try to get DH to help me take down the tree tonight--I'm ready to break out the January snowmen decorations, etc.

It's also almost SWAPPING TIME!!

We go back the 8th.. So, you all are going to have to help me remain strong.. they play all day and than the evening the fights insue.. good grief! You were fine all day together and now you are fighting.. what the heck!

Frustrating, isn't it...right now mine are separated. DS is with us (working) and DD is at my mom's. Even though they bicker constantly when they are together, now they are complaining that they miss each other! Yeesh!

Isn't that the truth!!! I really love the fact that nothing happens all day..but as soon as it's bedtime they want to tell you everything they can so they don't have to go to bed.. I even can get the stats on who went to the bathroom and how long it took them!
Right now they all have friends over...so it's loud but not fighting loud!! They are having a blast w/ friends over because I'm cleaning so they think I don't notice the fact that they are taking food to their rooms.. Uh, yeah, I notice.. I'm a mom... I have eyes in the back of my head.. I know all!

Too funny!!!! Today, I got my sister to babysit my boyfriends son for us! He is sleeping and I am at work! I should have taken today off!!!! Oh well... So I find out that both of my sisters are together with all the boys and they all went to the Zoo and the movies today! They are having a blast! I sit at work in front of a computer doing nothing and sweat to death in a room that is 77 degrees! They get to have fun with all the kids!!!! Something is definately wrong with this picture!!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great Christmas. My dd and I did. We hung around the house and ended up at our neighbors for dinner. Learned how to get music on my MP3 player. A 12 year old showed me. LOL!

Was Santa good to everyone? I got a Target and Michaels gift cards. Used the Target already, but not the Mikes.

Hit after Christmas sales and got some things. My LSS is having an inventory reduction sale. Spent $26 on paper! It was from 30%-40% off. I'm all set for swapping!
