Ever since I started with WW I have bought their low calorie meals. I've never used them for dinner but usually take a WW meal, M&S Count On Us Meal or a Tesco Low Cal meal to work with me for lunch. This has worked well since I prefer a small breakfast.
Last Monday I had the WW chicken and tomato with potato wedges. As I ploughed my way through the meal I quickly realised there was more wedges than chicken. So I decided I could make better myself instead. Worked out my menus for the week and bought the extra things I needed.
I've just made the first lunch for tomorrow ~ Chicken with noodles, mange tout, peppers with sweet chilli and soy sauce. Cost to make was the grand total of 50p. Which makes a saving of £2 per meal. Now I did buy a big back of chicken. With the exception of the Chinese spice which I bought (for a meal later in the week) everything else I used is stuff we would have normally. So deducting my bag of chicken, which will do 15 lunches. I have made a saving of £6. That is a saving of approximately £282 and I'm sure I can think of something else to spend that on
Fingers crossed that it tastes ok for tomorrow
