What a Perfect Day !!

I hope that the sun is shining where you are

It is lovely here in Nuneaton, the sun is out and it is lovely and warm

Today, I have been cutting the lawn and doing a bit of gardening, then a lovely friend of mine sent me a package with loads of Stitch goodies in it, and then I spent the last hour or so sunbathing in the garden

It really is a great day, so I'll make the most of it before the girls get in from school

I hope you are having a good day too

It looks warm here but I'm sat inside building new computer system for a contract we have won at work - looking out at my overgrown lawn and wondering if I will ever get time to cut it

I know just how you feel, Queenie!!!! I'm writing "Was Shanghai the best place to be in Republican-era China?". Why did I choose that one?! And then I have my first proper exam in 15 years in 5 weeks time! I'm trying to feel positive and think about holidays when I have a free moment (I might just have talked DH round to going to Orlando this December!) but feeling poorly doesn't help when I'm trying to get my head round 20th century Chinese politics!

Anyway good luck Queenie ! I'll be thinking of you!!!!

Well, as if my day couldn't get any better, I've just had a phone call from Wils (Jo) to say that I won her quiz that she had run privately as some fundraising ~ I'm chuffed to bits, it has been a great day, I think I'd better check that I've done the lottery for tonight

It has been a lovely day weather wise
Hour drive to HQ for meetings and finalising offer following last Friday's interviews.
Got back in time for homework, bath and bed-time routine so a good end to the day

IMHO i think its been the nocest day in my area in 2006!
The sun has been shining abundantly all day!
On my electronic weather station it hit 24.6c (not official,probably no where near)
But its been a scorcher,been sat in the garden for most of the day
I'm all red and burnt this evening
Oh well.....just one more thing............I cant wait for the british summer
