Just got back from a magical visit with the mouse! It was pure magic from beginning to end. We drove straight from Va. to Disney in a day which we have never done. Called the WL from the road to say we were getting in a day early and guess what? They had a room available with bunkbeds that we kept our entire time!! I was sure we would at least have to change rooms on Sat. Magic moment number one. On Sunday we went to CP at Epcot. Ate at Nine Dragons pre- show. Had a wonderful waiter who was lots of fun...magical moment number 2. The CP was extrememly moving! There are no words strong enough to describe its beauty. On the way back to the WL we had the boat all to ourselves! At the dock of the WL, our captain, David, suggested we watch the fireworks at the MK( it was a MVMCP night). We asked him the best place to watch and he suggested we stay on the boat and if we were lucky our timing would be right. So back to the MK we went but no one was waiting at the dock so we again had the boat to ourselves. Next thing we know, David stopped the boat in middle of the lake! About 5 min later we watched the most magnificent fireworks we had ever seen! He took us back to the lodge after the fireworks were done and he came down to greet us saying, "If I was Walt Disney himself I could not have planned that better!" I told him that his extra effort had given us precious memories...how can you thank someone enough for that? Add another magical moment. We had a marvelous Mousekeeper who made swans out of towels and played hide and seek with the kids stuffed toys among many other special "above and way beyond" things. Add more magic! The crowds were light...we never waited for a ride...the weather was perfect and I could go on forever! So whenever you read a post on these boards saying that the "magic" of WDW is gone, just remember my story please and know that the magic is very much still there.
