What a magical Disney Day!

I am Totally flabbergasted I dont even know what to say.... I HAD THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!!

I was at work today and my manager calls me into the office. Everything was going through my head like "OK what went wrong today, but still knowing I had done nothing wrong I had all these thoughts going through my head. I mean no one gets called in there unless there's something big to discuss...

SOOOO I went into the office and my manager asked me when I was taking my vacation dates next year because he needs me around a certain time. I told him I put in for the days of May 6-14 for Disneyland. He said um no we have it written down here that your going until the 18th... I looked at him totally confused. I said "I dunno what your talking about, I know the dates I had requested". He said "Well didnt you speak with your mom yet?" I was like UM no why would I have to talk to my mom and how do you know I have to talk with her? He said well maybe you should talk with her before we continue on with this convo.

I left the office, called my mom at her work and asked "What the heck is going on?" my mom replied, oh well I wanted to surprise you but I talked with your work about letting you have a few extra days off for our vacation. I thought maybe we extend it by a few days to spend a few extra days at the park. No extra charge on your part. Its all on your dad and I.... Lemme tell you I was standing in the staff room doing this and squeeling at the top of my lungs My coworkers laughed at me

So i went back to my manager and he laughed and said I had it booked off as long as I am back by the 20th I worship my parents right now.

I know I really owe them huge. I dont even know where to start. I mean yes its not for awhile yet that we are going but to know whats ahead is just stunning. Maybe I'll set something special up for them at the park, just the 2 of them.

I love the planning and the waiting. Actually waiting is definately half the fun. You realize how much you hate the wait but love it all the same. Kinda backwards but its great.

I am thinking of giving them a treat for sure for what they are doing. And so I am thinking of making dinner reservations somewhere special. Maybe get mom a massage at the GCH before hand. Maybe give them a little gift bag to take with them to dinner as an extra special surprise.

Wowser! I'd have been squealing too! Your parents are the best. I like your idea of doing something special for them. Maybe take them out to dinner someplace nice like Napa Rose at GCH or BB with a waterside table.
