What a leader of young men should be.

Some of you may already know who Bob Stoops is. For those of you who do not, he is the head football coach at the University of Oklahoma. Now I am not particularly an Oklahoma fan since I live in the purview of the Southeastern Conference, but Bob Stoops is quite a guy. If my son were to play college football, I would hope he would have leadership like this:

What a neat guy!! I don't follow football at all, but lots of kids really do, and this would be like meeting a movie star for them. Very uplifting, thanks.

What a different world we would live in if we all learned to change our priorities, to really listen, to feel compassion and then show mercy...to take a page our of Coach's playbook. Sure makes me feel that maybe I need to find a couple of hours a week- yeah, I'm busy, but probably not any busier than he is right before a bowl game.
