What a hoot!

I came into work this morning and a co-worker started telling me about an episode of Hee Haw she taped last weekend. Now I would never have admitted that I spent last weekend watching the Hee Haw marathon on CMT, after all it's so hokey Ah, but I did!!! There was nothing else on and it brought back memories from my childhood. And yeh, it was neat to see the "stars" as they were, knowing what I know now. So anyway....I asked another co-worker in my office if it was sad that someone my age sat at home and watched Hee Haw during my weekend, and he replied, "Naw, I watched it too!" OMG, what a sad bunch we are. So...anyone else want to admit they watched it?

I watched some of it to. I saw the one with Reba and the one with Garth. My children actually came in and asked me what it was. I told them and the oldest one said that is weird. Then I wound up watching cartoons.

I didn't know it was on. I probably would have watched it. With all the serious stuff going on we can use some good old corn.

I haven't seen Hee Haw in years. I'd have watched an episode or three-and felt like I was 10 again!

DH walked in while Garth was on. He said, "Who is that?" I said, "You have got to be kidding?" His DS was the biggest Garth fan alive for years Now George Jones and Tammy Wynette, that was interesting to watch. You could tell she wasn't happy with him the way she kept looking towards him, and he wouldn't even look at her!

Hee-Haw was exactly the reason we hated it! Well, that and bad food...

BUT, I have to admit.... I watched some of it too. I thought the kids might find it funny, but they didn't. Oh well.... back to SpongeBob....
