We flew in and out of TPA this trip, saving ourselves over $800 in airfare, compared to MCO.
I was a bit apprehensive about the drive (knowing what a terrible airport MCO is) and getting in and out of the airport.
I am glad to report it could not have been easier!
It was a cinch driving out of the airport and getting to Orlando. Nice, easy drive and interstate all the way.
On the way home, we returned our rental car in the time it took us to get out and unpack the trunk.
Security was a breeze...the TSA agents were smiling and friendly, NO lines, and we went through in under 5 mins.
What a nice change from MCO.
If we ever return to central Florida, we'll definitely be skipping the chaos of MCO and choosing TPA.
