What a DL CM said about DCL moving to CA

Okay, I was at the DL ToT event Friday night ... got to talking to a very nice manager type CM at one point ... I asked if there'd be a Buzz Lightyear event (like the ToT event) when Buzz opens next year, she was very coy but it sounded possible ... anyway, I then mentioned about DCL moving the Magic for the 50th celebration & how everyone is dyin' to get the details ... her noncommittal answer was "you guys have to let us make the announcement in our own way". She didn't say the ship wasn't moving, but wouldn't admit it was because they've been looking forward to making this hugh (worst kept secret) announcement for so long.

I find this very interesting, but I would like to know how this rumor started? It does look like it is going to happen, but who let the cat out of the bag originally?

I'm not sure any one person let the cat out of the bag ... it was a combination of the gap in Magic itineraries in 2005, the fact that Matt Ouimett (former DCL prez) was seen scoping out possible terminals shortly after becoming DLR prez, and a lot of rabid guests putting two & two together & praying that the answer really truly was four.
