What I don't get is that the guy who owns the factory say he isn't liable, if it is one of his vehicles that hit your car surely it is his responsibility to pay for the damages and it should be coming off their insurance. Hopefully your insurers will sort it out.

Don't worry about the liability thing with the car, Jules - he's hoping you'll be taken in by his rubbish and go away quietly. Just let your insurance company deal with his.

Like other have said something isn't right with what he is saying. If there were no double yellow lines, no parking restrictions then you should be able to park there and it is not your fault. Your insurance company should sort this out and it will go as a claim on his insurance.
