DH took some pictures of me when I first started trying to lose weight. We decided we were going to look at some of those pictures last night and WOW, what a change. DH said "please don't stop going to the gym". I knew my cloths were getting bigger but until I looked at those pictures, I didn't relize how much my body has changed.
I also had an instucter at the Y today tell me I looked skinny, I haven't heard that in years. I was a little shocked at first, I went into the hall, came back to the class and told her she made my day. That made me work out just a little bit harder today.
This helped alot since I am just 2 1/2 pounds shy of my goal weight and I was ready to give up on that because the scale isn't moving. Then I have to remind myself that the scale doesn't matter, it's what you see in the mirror and what other people see that matters.
