What a awful Monday...

My boss told me a couple weeks ago that he has decided to leave the company. I am upset because I love working for him and we have great chemistry. He told me he wasn't sure how long he would stay. Wel this morning he announces that he is gone at the end of the week and they found a replacement. I am sure she is niec (they are talking right now), but I am just miserable. And the stupid thing is, I may be leaving myself. DH and I are thinking about moving back home, but that could be in a month or a year. UGh.

Sorry this is weighing on you on a Monday morning! It will make you feel better if you let him know how much working with him has meant to you before he leaves this week! You are grieving through a change you don't want to see come about....it will get better.....

I can sympathize. I really like my boss. He's the only positive thing about my job. He told me this morning that they are reorganizing and I will be reporting to someone different. I like the new person, but it was just another thing on top of everything else about this place that has gone wrong. I started crying (I feel like such an idiot for doing that) and told him that I was not happy, that I dont like the direction that my job has taken, and that I am embarassed to be the lowest person in the organization. He said that he would sit down with the new boss and me and we'd discuss what needs to change. At least he agrees with me - but then, since he's not my boss anymore I guess it doesnt really matter.

for you. I totally understand and probably could use a good cry! I know he is doing what's best for him, and if I end up leaving, it won't matter one way or another but....

My boss left 6 months ago. We knew ahead of time who was replacing him and I was not happy. He was one of the best bosses that I have reported too.

Our is through AAA, or rather AAA insurance CO, Travelers. Dh had a minor fender bender last year, NO DAMAGE. He barely tapped the car in front of him, but she insisted on calling the cops. The other lady said, Oh we were lucky to make it out alive. Some people.
