Hiya:)

We are in France for a week 28th July this year & was thinking of tagging a 4 night stay to DLP on at the end, (not a cheap idea!!)

We want to go for May half term next year anyway. So, if I wait & only go then instead of going twice, will I miss anything that was only available during the 20th anniversary?

I think I might be able to wait if I know I will get to see the same things.

We have been 5 times in the last 3 years & the kids are a bit fed up of DLP (but I'm not, & they like it when they're there).

Maybe it would help if I stopped lurking on Disboards every day:laughing:, & switch the TV off when the DLP adverts come on.

I don't know if there's any way of knowing this for sure :confused3

Many people have said that Dreams will probably continue after the 20th, but it might not, given that they will need late park hours (getting dark) to show it.

Sorry, not much help I know, but I suppose we need to assume that the calendar of events that have been advertised are only for this year, until we know otherwise.

I think you make a good point here Ms Poppins. I really can't see them keeping the extended hours right through next year (from chmurf's post it sounds like the extended hours are already causing probs with CMs!). Perhaps Dreams will become a summer (high season) and Christmas only attraction, bit like Fantillusion? :confused3

But, on the flipside, they have invested so much time and money in Dreams, I can't see them not using it as much as possible....

I guess only time will tell :rolleyes1

I wonder if the 20th will last as long as the 15th? Wasn't that 5 years long?

Will they actually need extended hours for it in winter though when it's dark before 7pm?

Thanks for the replies.:thumbsup2

As I'm over there already I think I'm going to pop on over to DLP.

I can't wait till May anyway;)

OP mentioned going in May next year, so yes, I think they'd need extended hours then too - same as this year.

I think it went on for 2 years in the end & they ended up keeping the parade for 5 years.

Sorry, this wasn't in reference to the OP - it was in reference to DLPDreams comment I quoted about it only being a high season and Christmas thing! T
