I am thinking we are going to do 1 two credit meal. I want to try something other then Narcooses. We have done Narcooses twice & want to try something new. I cannot decide which one. We will be staying @ BC. Thanks

Good question...I'm interested in the responses. We're doing the same thing, but are leaning toward Cali Grill. Judging from Narcoossee's...I'm guessing you like seafood?

We like seafood but my son does not. He needs a good steak. This past Aug we ate at Narcooses and I really thought the fillet @ Lecellier was much better. I hope when Lecelleir goes to 2 credits for dinner that the fillet is still in the lunch menu. I am thinking that it will be. I'll do Lecellier for lunch so I only have to use 1 credit. It's going to be a tough lunch adr to get now.

I can actually say the Yachtman. I had great meal. The steak was the best ever. I been asking my wife to go back everytime. The atomsphere was awesome for kids and/or just with a love one. The cast members were awesome to me and kids.

Unless on the DxDP, I don't think any of the restaurants are worth 2 credits. When we eat at nicer restaurants in general, we like to have our apitizers, entrees and deserts, as well as a bottle of wine or a couple of cocktails. The idea of using 2 credits (the $ value of a TS credit on the DDP is roughly between $30-$35) and then still having to spend another $50-$75 on top of that for 2 of us just doesn't add up for me. I would much rather use the credits on nicer lunches.

With that being said, if you are looking for a signature meal near BC, if you are steak eaters you can try Yachtsmen at the YC or if you are more into seafood try Flying Fish at the Boardwalk. Both are close to BC and both are very good (Shula's at the Dolphin has a better but more expensive steak than Yachtsmen, but is well worth paying OOP IMO).

I love Le Cellier, and I really hope they keep the fillet on the menu for lunch too. As for your 2-credit meal, I'd agree with the PP that the Yachtsman may be a good option...especially if you're staying at the BC. Have a great trip! :goodvibes

I'll put in a plug for Citricos. I've never had a filet at any other 2TS restaurant as good as the one I had there!

We had an excellent meal at Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge. It seems to get looked over a bit, but is also a great choice for a 2 TS meal.

Flying Fish is my favorite of Disneys signatures. My favorite is the yellowfin tuna. They do serve a very good steak on their limited non-fish menu.

Another vote for Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge. It is classy, not noisy with some very very good food.

Flying Fish was very good. Everything we had there was delicious, including their signature red snapper entree. If you don't like seafood, probably not the best choice.

Yachtsmen seems to get consistently good reviews on here, although I've not tried it.

Jiko is just beautiful; service is fantastic.

And I loved California Grill, but mostly the flatbread and the sushi. We had excellent service and were there to celebrate our anniversary on Valentine's Day. We had a window seat, during Wishes, so I think I might be a tad biased... :goodvibes

I would suggest checking out the menus on All Ears and seeing what appeals to you the most. Have fun deciding!

Perfect Solution... swim across to Flying Fish Cafe at the Boardwalk Inn -- great seafood, especially the appetizers.... and I hear they have the best steak in all the Epcot area. I reviewed Flying Fish recently (link below).

My next choice would be either Jiko or California Grill. DW loves the filet at both. I usually order seafood, but I tasted hers and it was great.

I've always wanted to try a Signature restaurant, but didn't want to spend 2 credits per person. So I came up with a pretty smart plan, if I do say so myself...DH and I are splitting the huge 24 oz. porterhouse at Yachtsman and ordering a salad and an extra side dish to round out the meal; the oop expense will be minimal and we'll only use 2 credits total. I'm really looking forward to it; only 3 more weeks!

:) If you do Cali Grill--best filet ever. There is a flavoring they use, like a terriyaki barbque sauce over it. I would ask them to fix the filet without the sauce and get them to put it on the side. That way of he likes it he will have ample to pour over it. I am a purist when it comes to meat. I want it medium rare and to be able to taste the beef, so I do not like marinades. DH was thrilled for me to get the sauce on the side cause they brought it out in a small pitcher and he had more to enjoy.

I would have to say that yachtsman Steakhouse gets my vote, but it is also the only one I have eaten at. My DW and I had a beautiful meal there a few years back and will be dining there this Dec when we celebrate our 20th at Disney.

Since you are staying at BC and you want a good steak, then I would highly suggest Yachtsman's Steakhouse. You will be in walking distance from your resort and the food, atmosphere, and service is really outstanding. Both my DH and I had a steak when we were there in September and thought it was one of the best steaks we had on property. We liked it so much that we decided to book it again for our May trip. Another Signature restaurant that we love is Cali Grill. There is nothing like eating really good food at the top of the Contemporary and looking out over to MK as you eat. We always get the earliest seating possible (5:30pm), this allows us to really enjoy MK and watch it in all of it's glory plus watching the sunset over the MK is just gorgeous. One other signature restaurant that we really enjoy is Artist Point. This is actually my DD9's favorite restaurant on property. The atmosphere is so quiet and the restaurant is really gorgeous inside, plus the food is awesome...they have really good steak and my favorite, sea scallops. Enjoy! Unlike you, we are trying out Narcoossee's for the first time in May and cannot wait.

I also say the Yachtsman. We had dinner there in Nov. The steak was very good. It was as good as we remembered it to be from many years ago.
