What’s the tale of 2 Sheraton Vistanas?

Do either of the Vistana’s offer shuttles to the parks? If so how easy are they to navigate? I’ll be traveling with my high functioning 26 yr old son. We always stay onsite and he is able to get on a resort bus on his own and go back to the room when he needs space.
You’re likely going to have to summon an Uber/lyft for him if you want to be able to do this while staying at Vistana. I think they discontinue the shuttle. There was no mention of it or signs of it’s existence when I was there this past June.

vistana resort (the one close to disney) only uses the shuttle internally, and not to the parks.

Is Vistana Resort now Marriott - AC Hotel? I couldn’t find a stand alone Vistana Resort on Google, but saw mention that the brand changed names to AC, at least in Europe… I see an AC practically on the doorstep of WDW property… if so, I see this in small font on the front page of their website, so it would be worth a phone call to confirm if it still exists : “Our complimentary scheduled shuttle service to Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and Disney Springs make getting there easy.”

No. It’s “Sheraton Vistana Resort” and “Sheraton Vistana Villages.” AC is something totally different.

Is it the same physical property, just one part resort (nightly rental hotel) and the other part villas (timeshare and maybe also nightly rentals)?

When I searched I could only find “Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas” ( https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hote...ort-villas-lake-buena-vista-orlando/overview/)

Looks pretty nice… and all that space in the rooms!!
Two totally different properties located in totally different locations. Sheraton Vistana Resort is located just outside the Disney Gates. Villages is located on International Drive off of I-4, sort of halfway between WDW and Universal.

We prefer the Resort because the units are lower profile with very lush landscaping. I ask for a 3rd floor with a skylight. On my last stay in April, all communication with guest services was via text. There was a phone in the bedroom, but the one on the kitchen counter was gone.

When I picked up my packet, they asked if I wanted to attend a breakfast with resort updates and I said we were on a tight schedule with zero interest in purchasing and they thanked me for being clear about what I wanted.

hi, is there a big difference between the two Sheraton Vistana locations ?

One has an 87/100 rating and the other is 90/100, would appreciate any feedback, thanks
We had a great time at the Villages location during covid. We got a 3BR for under $100 per night, it was nuts. Would like to go back... if they ever have those prices again.

Sheraton Vistana Resort right outside Disney Springs is the one I booked. Villages sounds newer but I’m more confident in the closer location. Thank you for all the info! All I can remember from years ago was how big the units were, after a stay in our Disney hotel room. Thanks again.
