I missed a day! Tonight we are having grilled sausage sandwiches, macaroni salad and fries. Last night was steak, baked potatoes and caesar salad for DH's birthday (College boy had a late class so we will go out on Friday night).

Peppermint Stick ice cream was my favorite as a kid! I haven't had it in years - I had forgotten all about it! Yum!

I LOVE PEPPERMINT STICK ICE CREAM!!! It's my favorite flavor!

No idea what dinner will be. We have to be to work by 9:30 this morning. I teach from noon to 4 and then have to be in the building for the evening lab, which runs 5-9. DH has full time work with an overlapping lab to supervise from 2-5, then teaches from 6-715. Thursdays suck during the fall semester. If my afternoon lab gets out a little early, I might run out to pick up Chinese or something for DH and me to share. I need to plan better, but it's the first week of labs for the semester and it's gonna take a little to get back into the swing of things (haven't taught since June...)

My granddaughter made honey garlic chicken tenders for us last night. It was her first time cooking and it was delicious. I'm making spaghetti tonight.

I found a skinnytaste recipe for skillet pumpkin lasagna. We're trying not to have pasta right now so I think I'll try substituting zucchini noodles. We'll see how it goes...
