What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Jersey Mike's is our favorite chain, sub restaurant. Their meat is the best. I wish they had more locations.

love them too but we recently had a place called capriotti's open that has some pretty spectacular offerings. we only get to their neck of the woods once a month but we always stop there (wonderful pastrami ).

I've never had a Thanksgiving casserole. How do you make it?

it's stupid easy-literaly just the leftovers from Thanksgiving. bottom layer is stuffing (I spray the dish with Pam to prevent stickage), then layer it with the other traditional stuff we have-turkey, yams (or sweet potatoes), green bean casserole and top with mashed potatoes. if i'm making some to freeze I leave the mashed potatoes off (they don't freeze well) and just make some to top it when I defrost them to use. after heating top servings with turkey gravy. honestly not my favorite but dh and my adult kids love it.

This past week has been a blur. It was the first week of school so bussing for the elementary kids was very backed up in the afternoon. We did some take-out, some leftovers and I went over to a friend’s house on Friday after school for margaritas and charcuterie. We needed it!

Yesterday we had chicken fricassee and today is football Sunday, so buffalo chicken dip, wings, cheese, pepperoni and crackers and jambalaya is on the stove.

Sunday Funday! We had some friends over for the 1:00 game. First time entertaining in the new space and first time using the new bar.

We had wings, buffalo dip, Cesar cups, bruschetta, meatball Stromboli, and cupcakes.
