Last night was fish in a butter garlic sauce with peas and rice.
Tonight my DS27 is coming over for dinner. We’re having steaks on the grill with Mac& cheese. DH pulled out Mac & Cheese from the freezer that my mom had made. She makes hers from a Chefs de France Disney recipe. It’s soooo good!

I defrosted a whole roasting chicken for tonight. I have corn-on-the-cob and stuffing to go with it. I'm feeling lazy today so the stuffing is out of a box.

Tonight will be the rest of the General Tso's chicken and salad for me and DH wants the Chicken pot pie and salad

Tonight’s meal wasn’t planned just stuff in the fridge. Used up some fennel and had a Bosc pear so I made a grilled Gruyère cheese sandwich with them and some roasted chicken. Heated up the asparagus purée soup and that was that.

It took me 90 minutes to get home from work today, it should take 20. I needed something quick and easy so I made turkey burgers with pasta salad.

My daughter is making some kind of curry tonight; not sure what it is, but she's a great cook so it will be good.

Hot dog wraps and mini tater tots. Needed something quick after getting home later than usual from doctors appointments and such.

My daughter and her husband, who are special education teachers, both got very high marks on their evaluations today, so we're going out to celebrate. They chose Mexican. I am so proud of them. Their students are their passion and they work hard to give them the care and attention they need.

My daughter and her husband, who are special education teachers, both got very high marks on their evaluations today, so we're going out to celebrate. They chose Mexican. I am so proud of them. Their students are their passion and they work hard to give them the care and attention they need.

Congrats to them!! I’m also a teacher and it is a thankless job so it’s always nice to hear someone appreciates what you do.

My husband just ate dinner for lunch. He said he was making a sandwich then proceeded to use the leftover chicken for a quesadilla! I told him… “enjoy dinner”

I feel like the last few weeks have been so long. I’m limited in what I can do and feeling icky Surgery is a week from today and it can’t come soon enough. After working all day I barely have energy for dinner and the house could use a deep cleaning. I’m trying to let it go and be kind to myself.
