McDonald's tonight.

A friend invited us over for Turkey today. She had one in her freezer and wanted to use before it gets warmer out. She’s making roasted Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and a veggie. I’m bringing chocolate almond cupcakes for dessert.

I warned her in a bit mess. Bought a new washing machine this morning. I was reaching in one to make sure I could get the laundry out (review mentioned short people may struggle, I’m average height but wanted to check)) and the lid closed in my face. I have a cut on my nose and a black eye.

Those cupcakes look delicious!

They are super easy. It’s a chocolate cake box mix. Follow directions but cut the water in half. Add a can of solo almond filling (sold next to pie fillings but it’s a smaller can). Mix. I have done cupcakes and Bundt cakes. Frosting is confectionery sugar with milk and a little almond extract.

Solo also makes a poppyseed filling which is great in a lemon cake mix. Same directions as above.

Wiener Kraut....whick is sliced smoke sausage, onions, red bell pepper, apples, apple juice, cabbage, with salt, black and white pepper, sugar, coriander, garlic, mustard and marjoram.

Grilled Tuna Steak, wild rice & mixed vegetables. I may make some deviled eggs too. For some reason, DH bought a dozen eggs knowing we only have 2 1/2 days to eat them.

A couple of my kids had a pre-birthday celebration for me. We had a brunch of fun bagel sandwiches, salads and mimosas. So, I’m not that hungry for dinner. My hubby had a pork tenderloin marinating, so I’m sure he’ll throw that on the Traegar at some point this afternoon.

Oh, @LoveDaisy I’m sorry to hear that! Did you ice your injury?

I did ice it. It’s not as bad as I thought. There is a cut on the bridge of my nose and some bruising under my eye and a little on my cheek. The swelling went down in my nose. Hoping some makeup will cover it. I’m my own worst enemy! I am always injuring myself. I bought a washing machine and they took $100 off so there is that

Used some slices of “velvetized” chicken breast, frozen broccoli florets and a pepper/onion mixture to make an Asian stir fry. The sauce made it easy to eat with steamed pea pods replacing the traditional rice.

Tonight I'm making a spaghetti carbonara. With a homemade traditional sauce (eggs/parmesan), not the creamy rubbish that comes in a jar

I try to eat healthy, but I make myself a cheat day. And today is one of those days, so I'm thinking of making brownies. I usually do not forget about all my supplements and vitamins from Pharmacy B2B on such days because I think it's important to follow a certain routine that makes me feel better.

Heading out to a beautiful garden show that happens every year at a high in mall up the road from us. Will probably have a late lunch - Linner…at Capital Grille.

It’s Sunday which has become a regular fish day in my life so tonight it’ll be swordfish piccata with the end of the bag of frozen artichoke hearts added and couscous cooked in broth. Probably a green salad on the side and a cup of lemon sorbet for dessert.
