What’s for Dinner Tonight?

I'm on my own tonight, so I think I'll just make up a little tuna salad. Might make it a sandwich, but it's highly likely I lean all the way into my lazy self and call it dinner as is. Have some coconut Melona bars in the freezer so I will indulge in one of those for dessert.

Salmon, seasoned with butter, paprika, garlic powder, salt & pepper; brown jasmine rice cooked with chicken stock and milk--I added some minced broccoli that we needed to get rid of and will stir in 4 oz of cheddar; sauteed snow peas. My husband is going to hate this dinner...but, hey, must use what we have.

Sounds good to me.

DD and I had Stouffers macaroni and cheese and pre-made Caesar salad in our airport hotel room; our flight to Orlando leaves at 5:55am tomorrow!

(actually today; I forgot to hit "post reply" before I went to be last night!)

DH decided he was in the mood for biscuits w/sausage gravy, which we haven't had in a long time. He'll probably fry up a couple eggs to go with it. Breakfast foods are more his thing than mine, but he's cooking, so I'm good. :teeth:

Son and DGD went to my sister’s house today; I’m a bit tired and opted out. Knowing my sister she’s grilling on the patio and will be in and out of the house all day. Great weather for it!

There’s an avocado here that needs eating.I’ll have that with I don’t know what yet.

We are grilling tonight. Ribeye for DH and tuna for me. I’m making corn on the cob with a cucumber and tomato salad to go with it.
I'm always happy to see other people eating different meals for dinner so we aren't total weirdos LOL. I've explained before that I have a lot of food aversions and am extremely picky. I don't want to limit DH to my very boring diet because of my food stuff. What's funny is that I don't mind cooking lots of things that I won't eat. So we end up eating different dinners a lot of time even though we always eat dinner together and I cook most of the time.

Decision made: poached chicky, hearts of palm and 🥑 on a bed of greens for one tonight.

Made a big pot of bolognese sauce for the freezer today. Having an electric pressure cooker makes life so easy.
