I have been waiting for this announcement since Mac world back in January. They are finally here! I got my eye (and my wallet) on the $1,499 iMac.

Yes, those are impressive specs on the base 24" model - 4gb RAM and 640gb hard disk - both double on the 20" I bought last last April, for about the same price.
