We've never been to Canada- HAVE MANY QUESTIONS!

You will love coming into Canada Montreal will be great, my brother travels there frequently for his job, does not speak French and does well. so do not worry about the language. I have never been so can't give any advice on it.

I would second the PP idea about coming to Southern Ontario but wouldn't give up Montreal. The Toronto and Niagara Region is beautiful!! While it's Niagara on the Lake that has loads of wineries....it's the place wine is made from. So much do to down here.

Interesting, only been to Montreal a few times. When I was there with a Montreal born and raised friend he swore by Chenoy's for their smoked meat. Comments?

I've never been there so I can't comment, but it looks like they've expanded into a chain... i'll try and track down the original location next time i'm in Montreal and give it a review.
