This was one of the most planned days of eating I had for the whole trip, for breakfast I had (on my overly organized spreadsheet) that we would use a few snack credits at Main Street Bakery. However, my bossy 5 year old had a completely different plan-- rides! so that plan was out, we ended up getting 2 sprites at a cart for 2 snack credits (bad mommy moment)
After some fun we were off to our 12:30 ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern, I was really looking forward to this and P came willingly with me (or maybe the kid harness helped
) BUT I had to almost drag Ty
.. we checked in and they called our name within 5 minutes. When we sat there was confetti on the table for Ty's half bday, he LOVED that!!
Our server was Hugh (it was spelled different though) from Haiti, he was nice and effecient.
For my app I got the fried cheese---I'm a fried cheese fiend so there was NO question. P got a garden salad, Ty got chicken noodle soup, unfortunately they only brought out the cheese and my boys attacked it like a pride of lions on a zebra, what I got I enjoyed but I was scared to take too much out of fear they would attack me
I got the Pot roast for my meal *drool*it was AMAZINGLY tender and I pretty much cleaned the plate
the boys got mac n cheese,and when they brought out their meals their apps were on the plate
.. of course they didn't want it then!!
they pretty much cleared their plates which for my boys is a success!
For dessert the boys got ice cream sundaes, P doesn't eat ice cream (really anything frozen) but he also won't eat fresh fruit so either way it was a loss
They brought Ty's out with a candle and sang him happy birthday he was almost blushing
I got the Ooey Gooey Toffee cake and I was realllly excited about this one but.... it wasn't warm and it just wasn't what I expected
The meal was really good I give it 4 out of 5 stars , service was kind of slow but this restaurant is BUSY, parents ask for them to bring out the kids appetizers with the meals!!

After some more fun and Pirates League for Ty --i'm writing a trip report but here's one pic of the end result--
P was exhausted when this was all done so I decided to go back to the hotel for a rest , that was before we ran into Aloha Isle and I just had to get a Dole Whip float,two,one for me one for Ty...this was sooo good and refreshing in that hot Florida sun

We went to the hotel and were back out at 6 for our reservation at CRT at 6:50---I was unfortunately late again
but we checked in and went for our pic.... and then we waited...and waited... then a little more waiting!!! Finally at 7:30 they called our name,by then the boys were antsy and hungry, and so was I!
We had two servers--can't remember either name-- but service was SO SLOW! Drinks took 10 minutes to arrive, apps took about 20, it was just slow..
the princesses that night were Aurora, Belle, Snow White, and Ariel. They were nice enough but they weren't as playful as I was expecting, first it was late, and it was also loud,or maybe my boys weren't very playful so they weren't back--it just wasn't the fun experience I was hoping for
We started out with rolls,they were the average baguette type rolls, they were good
For my app I got the BLT salad
it was soooo dry, no dressing just toppings and I ate those off,and I was so hungry I started picking at the lettuce too
P got salad--he didn't eat
Ty got chicken noodle soup--He inhaled it!!
For my meal I opted for the Cavatappi pasta
BIG MISTAKE!!! It was terrible, the sauce was clearly canned tomatoes and big uncut pieces of veggies with no seasoning , I ate a few bites but I could not enjoy it
P got nuggets
he ate them all but not the string beans or mashed potatoes
Ty got a hot dog
he ate everything

For dessert I got the chocolate cream cheese buckle
It was really just a chocolate muffin and I couldn't find the cream cheese- if they would've called it a muffin I would've said it was good!!
The boys got rasberry sorbet
they ate the chocolate crowns on top but were ready to go and so was I!!
and to add insult to injury, There was some random leaking water from the ceiling that hit my head 4-5 times...ugh!
By this point I was really ready to go and kicking myself for wasting 2 credits each (6 total) fortunately the tip was included...
I give this 1 star!!!! They need to revamp, or maybe they just don't care..
When I planned, I originally had us using all of our meal credits in a perfectly organized way... well that didn't work and I know exactly why.
