After a LONG day of CPR training (important, but due to some people the class dragged on for an extra hour), I finally got home and wisked DH to Costco (in the downpour). They had tons of the books on sale. Woo hoo! DH does get to read it first though.

My Sam's Club still had some left this evening - for $15.72! I have only read the first two, so the new one will have to wait until I read books 3 (which I also bought at Sam's) and 4.

Well, unexpectedly, we have 3 copies now. LOL! My dad's pre-ordered hardback copy arrived this afternoon. While I was out running errands, I found both the hardback and the book on tape version. Since my dad reads so slow and my mom and I couldn't agree who would read it first, I just bought another hardback copy ($16 at Sam's) and got the book on tape for my dad. If we waited for him, he's such a slow reader we'd be waiting a month or so before we could read it. This way he can "read" it faster and get more enjoyment out of it, and none of us has to wait.

We got ours last night. The party was fun, but my feet and back were killing me this morning. I didn't get to start reading it until this afternoon, and I'm only up to page 200. My son has it now. ARGH. So far, the book has been great!! I was worried. Now I'll worry about who gets killed.

We got it Friday night, and I finished it last night. DD has it now. Meanwhile, we are also listening to the tape (Costco had them for $24.99, though I would have preferred the CD's). Jim Dale is hilarious doing Luna Lovegood's voice. It's a good one! Diana
