We've done the most - so what's the LEAST you've spent on a trip to WDW?

I'm going for my first time with my kids in May. I haven't been in years and have decided that this is my new "first time" since I'm going with my young family.

I think I'm doing pretty good with saving us some money - I don't work and DH doesn't earn a ton so money is tight.

I got 5 round trip, non stop tickets on AA for a total of $850.

My aunt is renting the house that we are staying in so I am paying nothing for accomodations - but to make up for it I"m going to buy the groceries when we go to the market the first night we are there - I'm figuring about $250 for that.

2 adult 5 day park hopper and 2 kid 5 day park hopper (my youngest won't even be 2 when we go so she is free).

2 adult and 2 children one day passes to SeaWorld

We have priority seating for 3 character meals - but will play it by ear. If the kids are not enthused by the first one, we will only do one other and forget about the third - why spend that kind of money on meals if they aren't going to enjoy it.

Then of course there is spending money for every day - plus meals. We will eat breakfast at the house before we head out to save money there (since my kids are super picky breakfast eaters - no use doing restaurants).

So I'm guest-imating my total budget will be around $3500

well it depends on how I look at it - lol
I believe the cheapest WDW vacation will be the mini-vacation before our Aug WDW vacation
yup APs are bought for the vacation, airfare is bought for the vacation
I only have to pay for the 5nights at a value for the WDW mini-vacation before the WDW vacation! (and our food of course) will be using the same airfare and APs that I already bought for the vacation!

Guess its a good idea to have a 5night mini-vacation before our 9night WDW vacation this August!
