You just won the lottery! What do you do first?

First thing we do is see a financial planner- I already know who it would be! LOL:lmao:

Next thing- book my IDEAL Disney Vacation. Spare no expense and do it exactly the way I want to!

Pay off the house and my car. Go buy a NEW car! I have never owned a NEW car. Not sure what I would get yet though:confused3

Let's think big- but realistically- 50 million! LOL

I want to play:rotfl:

1. pay off all my bills (less than $100,000)
2. Buy 2 new vehicles
3. put enough away for my kids college education
4. plan a few BIG vacations
5. pay off mine and my DH's siblings mortgages.
6. Help my mom fix up her house
7. donate enough money to my church for new carpeting and new stained glass windows.
8. donate some to lung cancer research
9. I don't think I would move just do a little work on my house and yard
10. investing the rest for our future.

Hey this was fun!!!:cool1::cool1:

So I am assuming this is before taxes so you are only going to get about 24 million after taxes.

I would buy my parents and my dh's mother a home to live in for the rest of their lives. They could live rent free. Hire housekeepers and lawn people as well.

Buy the broken down vacation shack they have & doze it and put up a very awesome one.

Then I would give money to family as per financial advice. Set up trusts or whatever I need to do. But I would give money to my sibs in some way. 3 of them are hanging on by a thread right now.:guilty: Pay debts, etc...all the boring ugly stuff.

As for me, I would get land/nice house in the same school district that my dd is in. She is in 7th right now. I have moved her around too much.

Next I would go to Chicago and get that body scan thing that Oprah did. I would want to check out every nook and cranny.

If I am given the all clear, I am traveling as much as I can. That is really all I want to do right now.

Might go back to school to get a financial degree.

Buy a huge building and turn it into a beautiful shelter for homeless families.

Quit my job and run the shelter

or

Open an orphanage

I have a strong need to protect the vulnerable. :goodvibes Having a large amount of money would give me the flexibility to defend and protect large amounts of people.

I would pay off the mortgages of my sisters and BIL. I would give some money to all my nephews, nieces, and grand nephews and nieces.

I would go to Disney for a month.

I would buy my DH the car he wants.

I would donate to animal shelters.

I would

1. Pay off our house and my car
2. Buy my Unlce a hous
3. Set up trusts for the rest of the family
3. Buy a brand new car for my mom
4. Take a large Disney Vaction with a cruise for the entire family
5. Finish my college education (only after disney cause I would need time off to go)
6. Give money to the animal shelter where we adopted our girls
7. Travel the world after graduation

That was fun

Let's think big- but realistically- 50 million! LOL

One heckuva Disney vacation for me and my good friends. Wannabe "friends" need not apply. I know who I'd take.

A new house! Not anything big or fancy.

A new car for me and Mom. Again nothing big or fancy.

College scholarships for my nieces and nephews. And grand-niece.

Set up a trust fund to pay off taxes and such on the above.

All of this is after paying off the income tax on the winnings.

Figure out a way to save most of it for a VERY comfortable retirement.

1 pay off bills
2 build my dream house
3 put aside some kids college
4 give some to my bestest friends
and lots of nice vacations

Luckily my uncle is an attorney...so I would just call him.

We are debt free so that wouldn't matter.

I would buy my mom's house that she doesn't live in anymore (she moved up north..) and fix it up to what I would want to live in - add off the back (extra space in kitchen, a deck, a 4 season porch), and put another bathroom in.

I would pay off my son's tuition for school through 8th grade, and throw a ton in savings for high school and college

I would give my church a big bundle

I would also set up a fund for people who need IVF or who are going the adoption route but cannot afford it. I would LOVE to be able to provide for those people.

I would take my family on a 30+ day tour of Ireland, Scandanavia, and Germany

I would take my family on a cruise that circumnavigates the globe

We would plan a huge Disney trip - at least 2 weeks. 1 week at CBR (connecting rooms so we have a lot of space!), and 1 week at Boardwalk or BC.

I'm greedy...LOL I would pay off all our debt, then pay off my Mom's house and give some to my siblings, then I would give some to my oldest DD22, then I would put the rest aside for college and investments. Of course I would plan a few dream vacations before putting the rest aside and I would donate some to a worthy cause but I definitely would want to see it grow. :)

My Dh and I play this game all the time....

I would pay off my house completley gut it and redo/update everything. Get rid of the yellow siding and do something to look like a log home.

Pay off my car and DH's truck, buy my kids each a vehicle of their choice.

Give a nice amount to my brother and sister.

Send my Dad on the hunting trip of his dreams.

Buy into DVC.
