We've Decided To Do Poly Again in October . . .Need Gardenview Help

Last time we stayed at Poly we were in Tuvalu which was a Lagoon View room near the Luau Area.

We will most likely be staying in a Garden View room and I was hoping I can get some help in choosing a nice location.

DH was thinking the Tahiti Longhouse or somewhere over there. I would like something quiet and not too close to the Main Building.

Any help would be greatly appreciated . . .I lost Tikiman's website address so if someone has that I'd love to get it. . .

I'm leaving for the Poly in 11 days - first timer there. We have booked a garden view as well and I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts. We are exactly like you - don't want to be too close to the main building. tahiti seems like a good choice. Most people tend to like Tokelau because it's quite central and close to the GCH.

We had stayed in the Tokelau building, garden view. In fact, if you turned to the left, you could see part of the lagoon, which was a nice surprise.

Hi, Wish Upon A Star!

We were in GV Tokelau in October, and were very pleased with this choice. We were at the beach end of the building (I think it was 2nd to last room) on the second floor with a balcony. Our view was of the lagoon, TTC ferry, contemporary, Space Mountain, and if you really stretched, the Castle! The "little island" was right outside our longhouse doors, so seeing the EWP was quite easy and enjoyable! The pool is a short walk, but not too bad, as you're walking right along the beach area, and the views are spectacular! (If you want the exact room number, I can get it for you later.) (I had requested a first floor NS Tokelau, but was assigned Raratonga--I asked if there was anything else available, and was given 3-4 other choices, and decided on this 2nd floor Tokelau.) Hope you get the room of your dreams (and if not, I hope it works out well for you as it did for me!)
