Booked again to go next Easter, managed to do it for approx £1000 per person!!:woohoo:

Congratulations! Great price. Do you mind me asking who you booked with and where are you staying?

That's certainly a good price! What are the details of your trip? Seems too good to be true!

Well done! We scored with Easter next year too - should be able to get flight + hotel + Universal tickets for around the £1K per person mark - so it really is doable if you want a good deal!

This is how I did it.

I have managed to get flights with United Airlines for £517 each
(Which does have one stop in Newark, we did this last year and was so easy)

Hotel - Downtown Disney hotel £514 for 2 weeks for all four of us
Stayed in it last year and it was spot on.

Park Tickets approx £392 each (For Disney and Universal)

Still working on the car

It doesn't have to be an expensive holiday!:cheer2:

Fantastic news. Easter - one of our favourite times to go. The weather's just so lovely and once you get past easter weekend itself the crowd levels fall quite significantly. Good luck with getting a good deal on a car as well. :thumbsup2

Good job!

Impressed with the flight prices; ours were £100 more each BUT they are open-jaw & Saturdays so that added a bit.

You can definitely get very good offsite hotels for under £40/night - and even better if you can get 4 of you in for that price! Which have you chosen this time?

We budget £25 per person per day for food; I bet you can do it cheaper as a family of 4 by sharing meals etc.

We are staying at the Clarion Inn, we stayed there last year.
I found the room to be clean, and the layout is the same as the Disney hotels I have stayed in.
It is nice and near plenty of restaurants and downtown disney was about 10 mins in the car and that's allowing for traffic.
Breakfast was a couple of dollars each for unlimited toast and Kelloggs cereal, with tea, coffee an Juice.
We didn't really eat there any other time as its so close the Crossroads restaurant area.
We normally allow £2k spending money for 2 weeks which covers our food.
I have decided this year though if the girls want to be spending in the outlets and malls, then they need their own money :rotfl:

:thumbsup2 We, along with several others that post here, have used other Rosen properties, particularly the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando and always found them excellent value for money. We have never eaten breakfast there though...

We budget £25 per person per day for food, drinks etc. and have always found this plentiful, particularly as we rarely by drinks in the parks (we take water in with us).
