Having been back to the forum a matter of weeks the fever has caught up with me.

We've (Me(34), Paula(35) and Charlotte (2)) already planned 3 WDW weeks next Sept/Oct but I was tempted by DLP.

Easyjet came up with the goods, just have to drive from Edinburgh to Liverpool tho, BA/Air France just a little too expensive from Edinburgh :(

Booked flights from Liverpool on Sat 9th Nov until Tue 12th Nov. Staying at the Seq. Lodge, first time in a Disney property. Excited? You bet.

Even better it will be Charlotte's 3rd birthday on the 15th Nov and the Xmas decorations go up in the park on the 8th. I plan to keep the whole thing a suprise for Paula and Charlotte until we are boarding the flight, I'm useless at suprises normally but this is something extra special as we will have been married 5 years on Dec 6th.

Any recommendations for a special meal (child friendly) to celebrate birthday/anniv ?

I'm sure you'll have a wondeful time, it's a lovely park , though I don't know anything about the studios. We're off there for our fifth visit in December and taking our daughter who will be two and a half for her first time to Disney. The christmas decorations will have just gone up when you arrive and they really add to the magic and the Sequioa Lodge is a very nice hotel. Just be prepared for the weather being quite cold.

I'm so pleased Easyjet have started trips to Paris - we got our tickets for £40 each:)

It's here ! Only 5 hours of 'work' left until we dash down to Liverpool for our overnight stay befoe flying out tomorrow am.

Considering the Wild West show, anyone recommend/discourage ?

Thanks

Hope you have a great time in DLP. We think it is a great park and enjoyed our stay at the Sequoia Lodge.
Not sure about the Wild West show - it has had mixed reviews - we personally did not like it - food was very average and the actual show was very staged and unrealistic. It was also quite loud - imitation guns going off and all that!
Trip report please on your return......

sorry I've just seen this, I hope I haven't missed you.

We loved the wild west show, and my dd still talks about it. We were there for Katie's 4th birthday last year, be sure to ask for a birthday badge at city hall - they really make a point of saying Happy Birthday to the child when they are wearing it.

Birthday meal - I can tell you where not to go, the character dinner at innventions was a complete disaster and they had no birthday cakes! I would suggest Walts.

Have you managed to keep the secret??

Bev

Thanks for the reply. Will post a trip report in the next week, briefly, had a great time, didn't manage to keep it secret(the build up was better together anyway).

Thanks

Can't wait to hear about your trip. Glad you had a fab time.
