My DD12 attended a Fischer Cats baseball game yesterday at a stadium here in the city (school field trip).
She was in line to get a drink and food with her friends when she realized she had lost some of the money I had given her, her friend said she could spare .75 toward what she wanted, but it wasn't enough.
My DD told me then, a woman walking toward her said "here, hon take this" and it was $2.00. My DD told me that she politely refused and thanked her, but the woman insisted, so my DD accepted and said "Thank you very much".
If this was one of you DIS'ers here in NH, I thank you for your generosity
(for those who might remember, this is my DD's 3rd experience:
The people in front of us at the toll booth who paid our toll and the woman at Filene's who used her own discount to help my daughter afford a purse she really wanted, but was coming up short on her birthday money)
