I have been reading people's experiences of WOC and they all have mentioned they had the choice or either the "dry" section or "wet" section. Other than the obvious, what's the difference??? Can you see better in the wet? Please advise :)

No one gave us any choice between "wet" and "dry" section. We were up near the fountain area of Paradise Park, which I think someone said was a "wet" section? We just got pelted by what felt like rain during a couple scenes, and then some mist from the fountains. I suppose if the wind had been blowing differently it may have been a wetter section; as it was, I didn't mind and my camera came through OK.

The pavement sure did get wet though.

We were in the First dry section, and still were damp by the end of show. The weather for June was cold, so everyone not really being prepared by the end of the show if looked like returning from an inprompt to snowball fight. Really happy, really frozen.

I'd like to know this too... I am thinking we'd be more apt to choose wet (and put on ponchos) so we can be closer... is there such thing as being too close (in the "blue section"--preferred dining is what we plan on doing.)

I was not in the wet section when I was there the first night. I was in the tier 2 blue section. I did not get soaked as I have thought during the show, but we still got misted during the show and a few drops of water.

Like what Eeee-va said on the opening night, when the CMs let the guests in, the guests just pushed into everyone and we didn't get to choose the spot that we wanted to be in. We were hoping to get tier 3 blue section and be away from the bay, but we were pushed into tier 1 & 2 section and we just went to tier 2. Not only we got wet from the show, but also from the flower beds where the hidden fountains were behind us.

As you can see from my placement on Friday with the blue FP

Then Saturday we had a better viewing area with the dining FP

The blue section is the dead center spot and I would say if you don't care of getting wet, I would choose the blue section for WoC. But if I like to take pictures of video tape, I would move just a few rows away sothat it won't get soaked.

if the winds are kicking that nite, everyone will be somewhat wet.

we were all the way in the back and got sprayed, not too bad because the winds were calm. but imagine if the winds were stronger?

The soak zone is definitely the best viewing but you will get wet. We were in blue and left pretty damp and shivering. Bring a poncho and enjoy the view:goodvibes

Were were in the Dinner pReffered for theOpening Show and we stood behind the sign that indicated that "You will get wet" past the sign. The sign was at the top of the stairs above the wooden section of the the viewing areas.

We were top step of the fountain and it was a mist like fantasmic if that helps ya out.
