Which water ride in IOA are you likely to get the LEAST wet? And which water ride is the least scary? thank you!

It all depends. I'd say least wet could be Jurasic Park. But it really depends.

Could be Bluto or Dudley too. I've been on Bluto and barely got wet and other times completely drenched. Same with the others - especially Dudley if you have people arming the water guns :)

Least scary I'd probably say Bluto's.

its better to assume you will get wet on all of them, because its all hit or miss because sometimes people in the front duck that kinda stuff

I'd say Jurassic Park too. However, I have gotten soaked on there but mostly just a light splash. The other two rides I usually get soaked.

We got so drenched on Dudley Do Right that we had trouble getting out of the boat.

Least Wet: Jurassic Park
Least Scary: Popeye & Blutos

Odds of getting wet on Ripsaw: 100%. Odds of getting soaked: >80%
Odds of getting wet on Popeye: 100%. Odds of getting soaked >90%

This past trip we again varied on JP by either being totally drenched or bone dry...........every time DS came on we seemed to get soaked.......he really is a water magnet :rotfl:

Ripsaw and Bluto........always drenched.

I got completely drenched every single time on the ripsaw ride last year no matter where I sat. I only got completely wet in Jurassic park one when sitting at the sides and/or the front row.

Popeye was closed so I cannot tell you about that.

DH and the boys hit the water rides and you know the saying "soaked to the bone"? That happened on Dudley lol! Not too much on JP though...I think it depends on how the weight is distributed in the boat on Jurassic.

Thank everyone - sounds like our daugter wants to do ripsaw falls. So I'll be packing my poncho.

Are you staying onsite?

If so, here's what I'd recommend:

Pick a day for the water rides. Get to the park at open. Head to Dragon Challenge. Ride it a few times (we usually do at least 2 each - more if there's no wait).

Then from there head to Harry Potter and ride Forbidden Journey - we always do single rider to save time.

After that, continue to make your way counter-clockwise, stopping at all the rides along the way. Jurasic Park, Dudley, Blutos..etc. Bluto's we tend to ride a number of times (16 last trip!). Skip Spider-man - it will be too cold! Ride Hulk if desired and head back to the hotel to dry off and change.

Then head back to the park. You can do that and be back in the park before 1pm.

This. Front heavy boats tend to get wetter. Back heavy boats tend to get less wet. Mixed weight boats = pure chance.

This also has *some* application to Ripsaw. Front heavy logs get more soaked. Back heavy logs sometimes get less soaked. And just one 25¢ water gun can negate this strategy. :rolleyes1
