Can anyone tell me what rides at both US and IOA you are likely to get wet on? Not just the traditional "water" rides but also ones like "Jaws" - which I have read that some people can get drenched on?? Thanks.

You can view the rides on Universal's website that you will get wet.

The only two that WILL get you soaked every time are Ripsaw Falls and Popeye and Blutos Bilge Rat Barges. Jurassic Park River Adventure will sometimes get you soaked but it depends on the weight of the raft and where everyone is sitting. Jaws is really hit or miss...sometimes it's just a misting and other times it's a lot more...but no where near the other attractions.

One Fish Two Fish will get you wet. How wet depends on how well you fly your fish. :rolleyes1

There are also some water/mist effects on Spider-Man, Shrek, Forbidden Journey, Disaster, and Twister.

You mentioned Jaws. My whole left side got soaked. I'm not sure if I was in the right seat, or wrong, lol.

For me it was like this

Jaws nothing
Jurassic Park - at the end first and last seat on the rows get it the worst.
Popeye's - you will get soaked
Ripsaw Falls- Heck yea

As others have said Jaws gets you normally not very wet. However, once in my experience I have had a HUGE wave come up and land in my lap... sitting near the middle should bypass this, but if you are on the outside protect your electronics :thumbsup2

Again, this is a rare thing.

Still trying to figure out the bag thing on rides at Universal. Can you bring personal bags onto the water rides or are there lockers to stow your belongings away. When we go on Kali River Rapids, we change into flipflops and put our sneakers and backpack in a Ziplock Big Bag. Would we be able to do this for these rides?

The lockers by the water rides are OPTIONAL ($3/hr). You can bring your personal items, which may get wet.
