We are trying to decide if we want to go over to Wet N' Wild while we are there next month.

All of the reviews on TripAdvisor say it's ghetto. Lots of out of control teenagers, etc. What are your thoughts?

I'd be interested to hear views on this too as I'm having the same thoughts as Lilmommybug........

I haven't been there in a long time but because of the school groups that come into town and the fact that Disney charges more for their waterparks, you get some unruliness there. I wouldn't stay away because of a few incidents especially since school is back in session. Give it a try!

We weren't overjoyed. We love thrill rides, but found that the slides just downright hurt! After four hours, my DS14 and DD12 were ready to leave. They also felt it was overrated and didn't feel the need to ever return.

If you can get the admission included in a special like we did, then I'd go. I'd never pay the full admission price.

I'd be able to get in for free with my flex ticket but with only 14 days in orlando I would hate to waste a day!!!

At the moment I'm plannng on going to Blizzard Beach and Aquatica.

Do you think I should try W & W or Typhoon Lagoon?!

Wet n Wild is mine and and my family's favourite water park in Orlando.

Mainly because:

We don't sit around the main pool, if you head over to Disco H20, theres a little sandy area with lots of chairs and beds, we set up base around there. It's way less crowded and close to a bar, food stand and restrooms. You can also actually hear the music.

The rides are more thrilling than Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. The themeing is basically non-existant compared to Disney's parks, but if you like raft rides and thrilling water slides, it's definately for you. There's also quite a big kiddie park full of smaller water slides too.

I've only ever been during the summer and yes, there are groups of teenagers. But the same groups of teens you see at Disney too. I've never seen any "ouf-of-control teenagers" or groups of people running wild..

WNW isn't for everyone, but I'm glad we tried it once because we've kept going back ever since :)
