We're planning on visiting HRH or RPH on Fri. Aug 22 to Mon. Aug. 25 and I know its HOT and HUMID in Florida. The package I'm looking at offers the choice of a meal at Universal Studios (don't know where) OR 4 passes to Wet N' Wild. I am thinking to say WnW because I love water parks but I've never been to WnW. Since we'll only be there 3 nights/4 days I am rationalizing that the meal might be better (even though I don't know where it is). What would you do? I did go to SeaWorld last summer and took the transportation provided by RPH which I was NOT thrilled with and I think I remember it was also used for Wet n Wild because its right next door if I remember correctly! Has anyone experienced this water park with small children? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Wet N Wild prides itself in having one of the best children's areas as far as water parks go. When I went with some coworkers fairly recently, I noticed the kids area was fairly packed.

The whole park was kinda busy, especially in the wave pool area. Still, it's a good place to go, especially if you're so close.

I took my soon to be five year old and my seven year old last August to Wet n Wild.

They really enjoyed it. There is a nice kids area, plus other slides, group things..

I think the question you really need to ask yourself is do you want to take on the constant supervision that a water park entails. Would your kids get as much enjoyment out of the hotel pools. As an onsite guest you can pool hop at all the Universal Pools.

It doesn't sound like you will have a car, so you would be dependent on hotel transportation which may not be worth it if you only plan on hitting the waterparks for a few hours after being in the park in the morning.

Personally I would take the dinner vouchers and relax in the afternoon at one of the hotel pools. Your kids won't know that you didn't go to the "big" water park. The hotel pool and slides will seem like a water park to little kids.
