Wow! While I'm not necessarily fond of CFW I'm very interested in LSL and the blue card. This might be the right time to pull the trigger. I know the whole LSL combination with CFW is still speculation, but might be worth the gamble at this price point once you take into account MB at effective price per point of $170. I highly doubt you will be able to get something remotely similar when LSL comes up for sale.I guess there's an additional $1500 Disney Visa incentive for CFW if anybody is interested.

I agree with you. But this one just feels icky. They kind of screw people over mid cycle.Or they had always planned to do this as part of Welcome Hone Weeks that start today?
Just didn't announce it
Also makes you wonder about waiting another cycle or two. If tariffs bite harder, DVD may be forced to incentivize further. Is this the beginning of a market correction? $235/$245 starting prices are way too high to generate any reasonably high sales volume. And 15 year financing (ugh) can only take them so far.I don't think mid cycle changes are out of the ordinary though, but I agree I'd feel a little duped if I bought last month and then saw this.
Signed our contract yesterday. Contacted my guide today and she changed to the new incentives at CFW and added the D23 Gold discount as well. It’s being “reviewed by the Quality Assurance team and should be finalized in 24-48 hours.”I’m always a big fan of the theory that the simplest explanation is the most likely, and, in my view, that is simply that they always planned it as a small incentive in connection with welcome home weeks. And, as long as they are willing to re-write deals for anyone who hasn’t closed, the only people they’re screwing are the guides who will have to spend some time to re-do the paperwork. That said, my opinion might change if they refuse to do that.
If anyone gets some intel from their guide on changing their in-progress deal today, let us know. I’d have already called my guide if she wasn’t on vacation until Tuesday.
Was that the initial e-sign or the notary signing session? I selfishly want to hear from someone who has been able to change after the 10-day rescission period has passed.Signed our contract yesterday. I just spoke to my guide, developer+d23+visa=$2500 in savingsI wonder if you could combine the current CFW offer with D23 AND the $1,500 visa credit. If possible with MB that would put the total cost for 150 points at $170 per point. Very tempting in order to finally get the blue card...specially so if LSL and CFW get combined.
That was the e-sign. We are one day into the 10 day rescission period. Was that the initial e-sign or the notary signing session? I selfishly want to hear from someone who has been able to change after the 10-day rescission period has passed.
But from an economics perspective, many of those who paid those relatively high launch prices (and with no MB) were likely the most enthusiastic buyers with the highest willingness to pay, i.e., highest on a downward sloping "demand curve". If they want to sustain sales, they need to court buyers lower on that demand curve...
Would LSL addition lower dues? Cause damn, those dues chew through this discountWow! While I'm not necessarily fond of CFW I'm very interested in LSL and the blue card.
