Alright guys. This is it. I am going to post as MANY updates as I can tonight. Like legit. I am only taking breaks to eat dinner and use the restroom.
So, in case you have not guessed (even though you have had PLENTY of time to think about it so you really have no excuse), we were eating at Yak and Yeti!
This was our first time EVER to eat there and we are SO glad we tryed it.
We got to our reservation pretty early, but NO one else was in the restaurant and we got seated right away on the bottom floor.
Our waiter was on the exchange program. He was from Morocco, so it was a bit hard to understand him at times, but he was pretty good overall.
After we placed our orders, my dad and I decided to explore upstairs. I love how rich the culture is in there. It just screams, "ASIA!"
And my personal favorite:
Such an Abby moment.
The wait for our food was a little bit longer than what I normally expect from Disney, but the rain probably had a lot to do with it.
By the way, I tryed ALL of these dishes and none of them disappointed.
My dad got the ribs.
My Papaw got the duck, which was surprisingly REALLY good and tender.
My mother, grandma, and Blake all got the steak and shrimp.
And I got the bourbon chicken, which was absolutely divine.
Our waiter even took a picture of us
Do you not just love our chair decorations? I think they were called something like...um...rain ponchos?
We all got the cheesecake, except for my dad who opted for the fried wontons.
So overall, our experience at Yak and Yeti was pretty good. The food was amazing and I loved the decorations. I personally thought the dessert was not all that great, but everyone else in my family loved it. Our service was so-so. It was not that it was bad or anything. It just was not quite...Disney quality.
Well, we thought about doing a few more things, but we were basically rolling ourselves around at this point. *cue the Oompa-Loompa music*
So, back to POFQ we went.
