For anyone from Regina east to the Maritimes, WestJet is having a wicked seat sale within Canada (and a decent seat sale for all of Canada to the US & the Caribbean).

For the within Canada fares (over 80% off!):
Book today (23:59:59 MT) for travel until June 25, 2008.

For the Canada-wide to "the sun":
Book by March 6, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. M.S.T.*
Travel until June 14, 2008.
Travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

I hope this info helps someone who needs to get from where they are to somewhere with cheap flights to Orlando save a lot of moolah! :goodvibes

Thank you!!!!!

My DH has been trying to talk me into going to a conference with him. I've avoided thinking about it because of the cost of the airfare. The seat sale fares are low enough that I think we might take the whole family.

The dates and destinations are/were very limited. From Regina, it looked like Toronto was the only destination. It was $39 each way for a total of $176 return with all taxes and fees - which is a great deal. A co-worker of mine was able to book this rate this morning for his family in May.

Yep - VERY limited.
Only option on the 80% sale from Ottawa... Toronto.
And not that I don't want to see my family, but the $12+ taxes worked out to one heck of a lot more than I'd pay in gas to drive!!

I am #1 in my daughters eyes. She and 5 of her friends are going to Montreal for a weekend in June and were going to take the train because it was too expensive for them to fly. Yeserday, I booked them for $12 each way which was around $112.00 after taxes. Her friends are now calling me their hero.

$12 each way is definitely a great rate. But is it only me that sees a $24 round trip ticket go to $112 fundamentally wrong? I am looking at booking a flight from Bangor to Orlando. It is about $400 return per person - taxes are about $120 total for the four of us.

You gotta love our Canadian taxes:confused3

Hi, I was able to book a flight for my husband and I to Las Vegas at the end of May. We will try to get over to Disneyland on this trip. This will make both of us happy. We got each leg at 149.00 each for a total 814.00 which is better than the 1366.00 that I saw for Westjet not too long ago. We can stay at my brothers place in Vegas.

I've been checking webcrawlers and flights out of Detroit. Current price is only $85.00 in difference. I can park my car at my brothers place in T.O. and not need to book a hotel in Det.

Thanks to the original poster for the seat sale info.

It has been since 1977 when my family moved back to Canada that I was at Disney for Grad night.

Yipee!!
:hippie:
