WestJet changes

I got home today and had an email from WestJet. The direct flight I had booked from Toronto to L.A. for our Repo cruise next year has been changed now to a flight from Toronto to Calgary, 4 hour layover and then on to L.A. Ends up being a 12 hour expedition. I ended up cancelling. (Westjet was very good and let us cancel as they had made the change with no penalty) and got on Air Canada/Tango for LESS! I was able to book our seats on the plane already and it ended up costing me about $35 more than Westjet. We now have complete meals, plus direct, and not worrying about seats.
For anyone else doing this trip Westjet advises they will be doing NO direct flights from Toronto to LAX. All via Calgary.

I ended up not using WestJet after all!

DD had spoken with MommyDearest, DGM, complaining how she would have to sit in a crowded plane for FIVE hours! Reminding her how her one flight that she took when she had that "Knitting Maniac" sitting beside her, etc., etc., etc.,...........

Well I got bullied into booking on Air Canada!

And yes, MommyDearest, is paying for DD's First Class Ticket! Well I was not going to be outdone so I booked one for myself too!

But it's Coach on the way back from MCO to YYZ!

One thing I want to know, why is it when they sent me to Europe to visit relatives it was OK for me to fly coach on a NINE hour flight!

Parents, gotta love em!

Stuart with all the stuff my wife will have in our luggage believe me you will NOT want to be in our luggage

If my dd told me she needed more room on a flight of that length I'd be laughing so hard and telling her she'd have to fly with monkeys, because that would be the only day I'd be buying her a ticket in first class .
Enjoy and if you could get me some of those little bottles of wine and nuts from First Class perhaps JGE could use them on our land shuttle

Well, she knows how to play at "Babas" Heart Strings! The little witch knows just when to "make the Hit!" And of course, with Baba and her being her only grandchild, well you get the picture! And I was not going to be sitting in Coach and having her laugh at me!LOL

I'll try to score as much as possible! I definately want my money's worth!
