We did and it was wonderful! It was our favorite day of our vacation. If money is no issue then I would definitely recommend it. Next time, we'll just do the day pass and park ourselves under one of those umbrellas.
The cabana was big enough to fit a full size bed and two singles (one on each side). It wasn't anything like a DCL cabana, much smaller but if you don't mind sharing the bed and loungers it could work... you can always sit on the beach for those that really want to lay out and for those just looking for some shade can sit on the cabana. The best idea of the size would be looking at the one immediately next door to ours in the photo with my little daughter's back show. They are really close to each other.
I've also looked into this but I think Royal Palms Beach Club is a better deal at $100 cayman all in for a beach cabana. You can reserve it on their website. Only problem is thier pool is adults only with a swim up bar. But if your kids are beach people that's no big deal.
So - if you only get the day pass, you can use the umbrellas and loungers without an additional charge? How early do you think you need to get there to secure a spot with an umbrella? How crowded did it get while you were there? Thanks so much for the photos!
Yes I looked into Royal Palms and it's a great deal as well but they only have 9 cabanas so book online early.
Yes Kathi - you have full use of their pool and beach and umbrellas for the day pass rate. You can get a decent location if you get there by 10am or 10:30am. It started to fill up by 12:00. Their pool is very family friendly and big and fun and they have a swim up bar and restaurant right on the beach. It's a gorgeous complex. We used the room to clean up and shower before getting back on the boat.
