Westgate Town Center

We are booked in a 1 bedroom limited kitchen at Westgate Town Center for a week March 2015. I have read the Trip Advisor ratings and some are bad but there a good ones too. We will be traveling with our 10 year old and my mom. Wondering if there are any more recent reviews of this property.

I was just there in July.

Wrote this up. I was in a 1 bedroom Deluxe (I think the difference is the stove....my sister in law was in a room that was similar to us but no oven and only a two burner range, it was also smaller I remember she said her's was a partial kitchen in the description and was listed as a Studio but it had a separate bedroom. Oh and the washer dryer was the same machine, ours was a stackable with two separate 'machines'.)

I'm not a fan of offsite but this was a very good stay and I'd recommend it.

Oh just remembered. They should send you a email to pre check in online. Best decision EVER.

People in line to check in.....about 60, people in the express pre check in line ......2.

I walked in and was through the entire process in less then 10 minutes. Others who were working on paperwork with agents before I started, who were still there after I finished and walked away.

Also did express check out. Basically told me to leave the key cards on the dining table and lock the door behind me.

We will be staying there in November - will post how it goes once we return. Thanks for the info on the pre check in email I hope we receive one once it gets closer. We will be staying in a 2 bed deluxe so hoping its nice.

Westgate resorts are mostly very nice, make sure you request a recently re-done unit(most of them are). The biggest problem with Westgate are the pushy timeshare salespeople. Say no, be firm, you'll be done with them.

This is the truth! Great facilities with mini golf and peddle boats etc. Just do NOT under any circumstances agree to meet with the sales people!

My parents are owners at Westgate, I always stay at Town Center and have never had an issue. That said, when we travel together we always get a 2bdrm deluxe and alone I get a 1 bdrm deluxe so I can only speak on those, but I love it there and have never had an issue. Just don't agree to a sales presentation and you'll be fine. It's the only place I will stay offsite.
