Anyone stayed here? My MIL has a deal there and is letting us use her timeshare for a Disney visit in March 2006.

What should we expect? Is there daily maid service like in a "regular" hotel? What facilities are in the kitchen (ie ... can I cook a "real" meal or just microwave and fridge? Toaster?)?

It will be my husband and I and our two kids (aged 4 and not quite 7 at the time of travel). From what I can tell, the places are quite spacious (one kind bed and a living room with pull-out, I think).

How long does it take to get from there to the various parks? It looks like AK is the closest?

Any and all info is appreciated. My MIL has given me some info, but generally goes to Orlando to chill out, visit some family, etc., so her trips aren't geard the same way ours will be.

depends upon your room size - 1 bedroom and up - you got a full kitchen.

I haven't been since Westgate started the maid service - I don't think it was a success - so I don't know if it is still offered.

yes AK is the closest - probably around 5 minutes to AK - if you take the short cut -

go to the entrance (US 192) at the traffic light - go straight across - stay on this road until it ends - then turn right - get in the left lane and you will see a sign telling you to turn here to get to the AK. for the other parks get in a middle lane and just follow the signs to the parks.

Yes ... it would be a 1-bedroom. Separate bedroom with king bed and bath. Separate living room area with TV and L-shaped sectional.

Just bought a timeshare when we were at WDW.....yes they do have maid service....full kitchen some even have washer and dryer. Separate bedroom with king bed.... with jetted spa tub. They are also in the future going to have their own theater and water park....just a bit of info....

we've been there twice, and would go back again anytime. The maid service was an unexpected plus.
