Westgate Resort

Hi everyone
I need some information on Westgate resort in Kissimmee. My husband was offered a very good deal to purchase a week from a friend of his. The resort has 2 bedrooms plus a loft. I believe it's located on Old Wilson Road. I need all the information(amenities, staff, etc..) anyone can provide on this resort before we buy into this. I've seen a few of the Westgate resorts but, I don't remember if I've seen this one. Thanks in advance!

the westgate resorts are lovely - there management leaves a whole lot and I mean a whole lot to be desired.

If the Westgate owners could keep the management out - Westgate would be one of the best properties - right now - no way!

Thanks so much spiceycat for the valuable info. I went to tug2.net and registered. Hopefully I will get some feedback. Unfortunately the management doesn't sound too likable from what I gathered from your post. That doesn't make me like it already. Good management means alot. Last year we stayed at the Vistana and everyone there was wonderful! Guess I'm hoping for the same. Thanks again!

I posted a reply on Tug but in case you dont get back there. I own at the Villas a loft unit. We own week # 9. I have had no problems with management except for their pushing sales people. If you get past that, the rest is good. Any problems I have had with maintenance, were taken care of quickly. Any problems were minor. I have also traded my unit within the Westgate resorts. If the price is low and you are going to use the resort itself or just trade among their own resorts, I would not hesitate.
