Westgate Lakes & Spas

Hi

Has anyone heard of Westgate Lakes & Spas they offer a time shares. We joined whilst out there we got an amazing deal it does work out we save on our holiday accomodation after its paid and been like 3 times. Now we need a villa or at least an apartment a standard room just is not enough and we noticed that we needed a little more room.

Anyone opinions or experiences would be great as we have a 10 day cooling off period.

Hi Michelle,

Whilst we have not been to Westgate Lakes (have passed by but not visited) we do have timeshare at Peninsula Club at La Manga in Spain. Like you we found a hotel room just not suitable for our needs and now have got used to the five star luxury that La Manga offers.

We have never regretted buying the two weeks timeshare there and have more than got our monies worth out of it in terms of accommodation costs. In fact, we have been so pleased with our purchase that we bought an extra week at La Quinta Club also in La Manga specifically to swap for travel to America on the basis that if we did not want to go further afield than Europe we know we like the resort and would be happy to use it. We have swapped the La Quinta weeks for two weeks in Sheraton Vistana Villages. This is one of the attractions of timeshare for us - it does not tie you down to one place year in year out.

A friend swopped her week in La Manga for one at Westgate Lakes and was quite happy with the accommodation and the resort.
